How to remove stains from mattresses

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Spray the stain remover spray on to the stained area.

  2. Rub the product into the mattress gently.

  3. Let the stain remover spray soak in for up to 5 minutes.

  4. Wipe the area with a clean damp cloth.

  5. Important: Using Vanish Oxi Action Carpet & Upholstery Spot Treatment Spray avoids getting your mattress overly wet (as you may with a soapy solution), reducing the chance of damaging the mattress significantly. Allow for ventilation to dry your mattress before re-dressing the bed.

How to remove blood stain from mattress

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. If it’s a fresh, wet stain, blot it with a clean absorbent cloth, cotton towel or paper towel first, to help remove any excess moisture. If it’s already dried, there’s no need to worry. Move onto the next step either way.

  2. Spray the stain remover onto the blood stain and leave for a maximum of 5 minutes.

  3. Blot the blood stain, and then remove any leftover product with a clean cloth.

How to clean coloured sheets & bedding

To clean your bed sheets and bedding, use our Vanish Laundry Booster Powder or Gel. All you need to do is put one scoop of powder, or dose of gel in every wash with your usual detergent. The deep hygiene action* in the Vanish formula gives your bedding a deep clean in the wash. If they need a boost of extra bright colour, however, use either product with the pre-soak method below:

  1. Pour 100ml onto the stained item, gently rub and then soak in 4L of water.

  2. Soak colours for 1 hour max.

  3. After soaking, wash as usual or rinse thoroughly.

  4. For best results on stains, rub before rinsing.

  1. Add a scoop to 4L of water.

  2. Soak whites for 6 hours max.

  3. After soaking, wash as usual or rinse thoroughly. For best results on stains, rub before rinsing.

Tips

Storage: Not many people consider the implications of storing their white bed sheets, but this can affect their quality. Make sure you keep your white sheets in a clean cupboard or drawer and store dark colours separately.
